Talking Faith | What's your story on faith?

Chris Pugh
USA TODAY NETWORK-Ohio

I was tempted to write a column this week about how I became a Christian.

It's a story I like to tell, from learning about God from my parents; Ralph, a man that shared his faith with me at church; and how a radio host shared the song "Not of This World" from the Christian rock band Petra.

I was going to write 400 words about how I never met the radio host and don't know his name, but look forward to thanking him in Heaven one day.

I was going to share how I got to meet the man who wrote the Petra song and thanked him for writing words that led me to Christ.

And how Jesus has brought me peace that I haven't found anywhere else.

But that was an easy story for me,

I grew up in the church and had tons of encouragement.

Following Jesus wasn't difficult for me.

If you follow Christ, that's great, but I know not everyone does.

Your story may be different. And I would like to hear it.

From time to time, I would like to share stories from those who follow Christ and those who don't.

What's your story?

I would be interested in hearing from those who follow Christ and those who don't.

If you are willing to have your story shared in the paper and online in the USA TODAY NETWORK-Ohio, send me an email at clpugh@gannett.com.

I would love to hear from you and possibly share your story.

Your stories of faith and what's kept you away from faith promises to be an interesting conversation.
