CRESTLINE - A Crawford County wreck that sent one man to the emergency room Wednesday is still under investigation.

Jeremy May, 34, of Galion, was taken to OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital and then OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus, according to the Crawford County Sheriff's Office. His condition is not known.

Around 9:24 p.m. Wednesday, May drove his red 2000 Ford Mustang off Ohio 598 and onto the eastbound exit ramp of U.S. 30, toward oncoming traffic. The sheriff's office said May struck a black 2017 Cadillac XT5 Crossover on the ramp.

The Crossover was driven by Darrell Mabry, 59, of Ontario, with passenger Debra Mabry, 56, also of Ontario. Both were treated for minor injuries at the scene.

The sheriff's office said May was entrapped and had to be removed from his car by members of the Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Department. The Ohio Highway Patrol also responded.

The crash is being investigated by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
