Police Beat: Ammunition stolen

Feb. 17

INCIDENTS

Theft of about 5,000 rounds of ammunition was reported in the 5400 block of Marseilles-Galion Road.

Theft of a chain saw was reported from a garage in the 4800 block of Marion-Mt. Gilead Road.

ARRESTS

James Michael Delarber, 35, of Continental was served a Marion County Common Pleas warrant in the Madison County Correctional facility on a felony count of illegal conveyance of drugs and taken to the Multi-County Correctional Center.

A 45-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct and theft in the 1500 block of Marion-Mt. Gilead Road.

A 34-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence and an open container violation in the 500 block of Marion-Cardington Road.

Feb. 16

INCIDENTS

A window of a vehicle was broken in the 300 block of Pole Lane Road and change, gloves, hand tools and chewing tobacco valued at $70 reported stolen.

Theft from a vehicle was reported in the 2200 block of Bethany Lane. A wallet was reported stolen.

Stolen or lost medication was reported in the 2000 block of Harding Highway.

A caller from Upper Sandusky reported someone used his identity to open an account at a jewelry store.

ARRESTS

Levi Vanway, 27, last known address of 238 Owens St., was served a warrant at the Multi-County Correctional Center on a felony charge of failure to comply with a court order.

A 55-year-old man was arrested on counts of theft and criminal trespass in the 1600 block of Marion-Mt. Gilead Road. He also was arrested on a warrant from Marion Municipal Court for three counts of theft.

A 30-year-old man was arrested in the 300 block of South State Street on warrants issued by Marion and Marysville municipal courts for failure to appear. He was taken to the Multi-County Correctional Center.

A 44-year-old man was arrested in the 300 block of South State Street on warrants issued by Marion Municipal Court and Hardin County for failure to appear and nonsupport of dependents.  He was taken to the Multi-County Correctional Center.

A 23-year-old man was arrested in the 200 block of Jefferson Street on a warrant for failure to appear from Marysville Municipal Court and was transported to the Marion-Union County line and turned over. He also was cited for failure to register a dog.

A 34-year-old man was arrested at the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail in Nelsonville on two warrants from Marion Municipal Court for failure to appear and failure to serve a jail sentence and transported to the Multi-County Correctional Center.

A 44-year-old man was arrested for theft in the 2400 block of Marion-Mt. Gilead Road.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the area of Delaware Avenue and Barks Road.  A 26-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana in the same incident.
