Library news | Murder Mystery is Feb. 4

Storytimes at Marion Public Library will be held at their usual times. The Library offers storytimes geared towards your child’s development level, with interactive sessions packed with songs, stories, and movement activities to help your child’s mind grow.  Check the Library’s event calendar at marionlibrary.org for times and details, and don’t forget about the Evening Family Storytimes at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays.

The BookMarks of the Marion Public Library will host a murder-mystery event at 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4. , with all proceeds going to support the Library.  This evening of sleuthing will see attendees as “detectives” watching scenes unfold to reveal clues and then questioning the suspects to solve the crime.  All this is done with a bit of humor and will feature wonderful desserts, making the evening a great night out.  Tickets are $25, with discounts for BookMarks members, and can be purchased at the Library or through the BookMarks’ website: marionohbookmarks.org
