Swimming Roundup: River View boys fourth at meet

River View boys placed fourth of 16 teams Saturday at the Viking Classic, while River View girls finished seventh of 18 teams.

Leading finishers for the River View boys were 200 medley relay, second (1:50.63); Nate Cooper, third, 50 freestyle (24.19) and second, 100 backstroke (1:00.34); Jake Mitchell, third, 100 freestyle (55.31); 200 freestyle relay, third (1:38.71); and Caleb Fischer, 100 breaststroke, third (1:09.54).

Leading the River View girls were Lindsey Ashcraft, fourth in the 100 breaststroke, (1:18.68) and sixth, 200 individual medley (2:30.87); and 200 freestyle relay, fifth (1:54.30).
