McKee, Belli win titles

Newark’s Levi McKee and Northridge’s Forest Belli each won titles Saturday during the Bad Apple Brawl at Mount Vernon.

McKee (182) pinned each of his five opponents, beating Dublin Coffman’s Parker Bauman in the final. He led the Wildcats to a seventh-place team finish.

Other top placers for Newark were Hunter Thornsberry (2nd, 152), who was 3-1 losing to defending state runner-up Dom Demas, of Coffman, and Jade Batross (4th, 138), who was 3-2.

Belli (160) was 4-0 with three pins, and teammate Hunter Corbin (3rd, 170) was 4-1.
