Vote for a favorite Gift of Lights tree in Port Clinton

PORT CLINTON -  Fourteen local businesses and organizations are competing to win the 2016 Gift of Lights for the best-decorated tree at Adams Street Park in downtown historic Port Clinton. The proceeds from the 2016 Gift of Lights goes to “Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep”  as selected by the 2015 winner (Oliver H. Perry Lodge No. 341).  The donations will determine this year’s winner.

The following businesses decorated a tree: The Beacon, City of Port Clinton, Civilian Marksmanship Program, Compassionate Friends, Diversified Insurance, First National Bank, Goodwill, Oliver H Perry Lodge #341, Port Clinton Chamber Ambassadors, Port Clinton Leadership Council (A), Port Clinton Leadership Council (B), Port Clinton Women’s Club, Walleye Drop, and Wreaths Across America.

Voting began during Community Christmas and ends at noon Dec. 16. Ballot boxes will be available at the Main Street Port Clinton Chamber office, Port Clinton City Hall, Coffee Express, Perfect Color Hair and Tan, Slater’s Madison Street Pub and the Wide World Shoppe. People will vote for their favorite or best-decorated tree for a dollar donation.
