CHILLICOTHE - Police are investigating who may have shot out the window of a car driving on North Bridge Street on Wednesday.

A Peebles woman called Chillicothe police just after 8 p.m. Wednesday and said she had been driving on North Bridge Street under U.S. 35 when a rear passenger window shattered. An officer discovered a small hole in the window the size of a BB pellet as well as a hole on both sides of a shopping bag in the rear seat and a gash in the opposite door.

The woman said she thought the shot came from the overpass, but she didn’t see anyone.
