MANSFIELD - James Lewis has been in the wind for over a year.

Lewis, 40, is wanted by the Mansfield Police Department on an October 2015 warrant for failure to appear for a review hearing. His original charge was failure to pay income tax.

In addition, Lewis is wanted by the Richland County Sheriff's Office and the Ohio Adult Parole Authority for a probation violation in December. The original charge was dangerous drugs.

"Lewis was arrested by the task force back in August 2011 and has a violent criminal history," U.S. Marshal Ross Wilber said. "Lewis is known to be in the Mansfield area, but has been moving frequently."

Lewis, who also goes by the alias Tutu, is 6 feet, 1 inch and weighs 175 pounds. He is bald with brown eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Richland County division of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 419-774-3565 or 866-4-WANTED.
