Woman alleges handyman stole from her

CLEARCREEK TOWNSHIP - A woman told deputies that several belongings went missing after a handyman worked on her camper.

The alleged theft occurred sometime between Sept. 19 and Friday in the 11500 block of Sixteenth Road, a Fairfield County Sheriff’s report indicates.

The woman told deputies that she had hired a handyman to do work on her camper and only knew him by his first name.

The woman’s daughter found all of the camper doors open and nearby chicken coop open on Sept. 19. Two televisions, a DVD player and iPod speaker were reported missing from the camper. However, it wasn’t checked at that time for missing items.

No arrests have been made in connection to the theft.
