BELLEVUE -  A woman alleged to have assaulted a McDonald's employee for working too slowly has been sent to prison for violating probation for a previous offense.

Mary Jordan, 33, of Sandusky, was on probation after serving a 20-month prison term received in March 2014 for two counts of complicity to commit forgery when she was arrested for her alleged role in the June 8 McDonald's assault.

Jordan, whose smiling police mugshot was featured in news coverage nationwide, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of assault and child endangerment in the Bellevue incident. She was sentenced Aug. 26 to seven months in prison for violating terms of her probation in the 2014 case.

The Bellevue Police Department said that Jordan and two other Sandusky women, Ashley England 29, and Sammie Whaley, 31, allegedly attacked the Bellevue McDonald's employee at 1:48 p.m. on June 8 because the employee was working too slowly on their orders. Police allege the three women waited for the worker to leave her shift at the restaurant and then attacked her in the parking lot.

The McDonald's worker was injured, but in a statement released in June, Bellevue McDonald's owner and operator Tom Humbard said she was recovering.

"We're grateful that our employee is recovering, but horrified that she was attacked. We thank the customers and employees who helped her, and the police for tracking down the suspects," Humbard said in June.

The child endangerment charges were filed because the women's children were present while the assault was happening, according to a Facebook post by the Bellevue Police Department.

Assault and child endangerment charges are still pending against Jordan and England from the June 8 incident.

England was scheduled for a pretrial hearing Monday to discuss evidence, but nothing further came from the hearing.

Whaley pleaded no contest to assault charges on June 9 and was found guilty, fined $100 and placed on non-reporting probation. Whaley will not face jail time as long as she has no similar offenses for the next year.

Ashley England, of Sandusky, charged with assault.

Future court dates have yet to be set for both women.
