Indictments

The following people were indicted for felony offenses in Licking County Common Pleas Court:

Eric E. Mills, 29, last known address 3045 Savage Hill Road, Lancaster, was charged with one count of felonious assault, a second-degree felony.

On Sept. 11, Mills was suspected of assaulting a person, according to the indictment.

Charles A. Garman, 47, last known address 1642 Hebron Road Lot 7, Heath, was charged with one count each of rape, a first-degree felony; grand theft, a third-degree felony; trespass in a habitation, a fourth-degree felony; menacing by stalking, a fourth-degree felony; forgery, a fifth-degree felony; and theft, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Between May 5 and Sept. 2, Garman was suspected of stalking a person, between July 23 and 24, he was suspected of forging a document and stealing property, between June 5 and 6, he was suspected of breaking into a residence and on Sept. 2, he was suspected of sexually assaulting someone and stealing a firearm, according to the indictment.

Jessica M. Rhinehart, 40, last known address 2023 Cherry Valley Road, Newark, was charged with one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

On July 15, 2015, Rhinehart was suspected of possessing methamphetamine, according to the indictment.

Tracy D. Franken, 39, last known address 379 S. High St., Pataskala, was charged with one count each of possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony; possession of drug abuse instruments, a second-degree misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.

On Nov. 1, Franken was suspected of possessing heroin, according to the indictment.

Jeffrey L. Grooms Jr., 34, last known address 79 N. 26th St., Newark, was charged with one count each of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony; and failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, a first-degree misdemeanor.

On March 2, Grooms was suspected of fleeing police and having a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle, according to the indictment.

Siera N. Stevens, 23, last known address 961 Miller Ave. Apt. A, Newark, was charged with one count each of possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony; possession of drug abuse instruments, a second-degree misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.

On Aug. 26, 2015, Stevens was suspected of possessing heroin, according to the indictment.

Michael W. Ryan, 42, last known address 256 Wilson St., Newark, was charged with one count of carrying concealed weapons, a fourth-degree felony.

On Sept. 13, Ryan was suspected of carrying a concealed weapon, according to the indictment.

Blake E. Linger, 32, last known address 5187 Raccoon Run, Johnstown, was charged with one count of felonious assault, a second-degree felony.

On Sept. 11, Linger was suspected of assaulting a person, according to the indictment.

Ronald J. Snyder Jr., 39, last known address 128 E. Stevens St., Newark, was charged with one count each of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.

On Feb. 12, 2014, Snyder was suspected of possessing methamphetamine, according to the indictment.

Brian L. Peasley, 38, last known address 283 S. Main St., Johnstown, was charged with one count each of illegal cultivation of marijuana, a second-degree felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.

On March 29, Peasley was suspected of growing marijuana near a school, according to the indictment.

Paul A. Crawford, 35, last known address 59 W. Main St. Rear, Newark, was charged with two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, both fourth-degree felonies.

On May 31 and June 13, Crawford was suspected of selling methamphetamine, according to the indictment.

Justin R. McGee, 32, last known address 131 W. Locust St., Newark, was charged with one count each of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.

On Feb. 2, McGee was suspected of possessing methamphetamine, according to the indictment.
