GRANVILLE - For Sarah Prasher, driving from Findlay wasn't anything to her if it meant she could see one of her favorite actors in action, especially in her hometown.

That actor, Bruce Willis, was in the village to tape scenes for the upcoming feature film 'First Kill,' directed by Steven C. Miller.

"I drove two hours to be here for this, and I have to be up for work by 5 a.m. tomorrow morning after a two-hour drive back tonight," she said. "My mom and I have been sitting outside of Moe's (Original BBQ) since 5 p.m. this afternoon."

"We wouldn't miss this for anything."

The Prashers weren't the only people to gather Tuesday evening in downtown Granville for a chance to see Willis as he walked down Broadway.

Dorothy Curl and her friends took the afternoon to look for the film crew as it worked on scenes outside Granville near Lazy River Campground. They actually managed to drive close to the set.

"My daughter follows the director on Twitter, and when she saw they were going to be filming in Granville, she let me know," Curl said. "I just took a slight detour on the way to my friend's house, and we got very close."

Tom Stermer, of Granville, also drove out near the Lazy River set.

"I had stopped in the village for lunch when I heard people talking about the movie. I decided it was a good day to go drive around so I went cruising out in the area," he said. "I managed to find where they were shooting."

For Stermer, just getting to see what it takes to make a movie was exciting.

"When I drove by, I saw a group of about 40 people, with all of their equipment, managing to fit into a grassy space in the woods," he said. "It was a cool opportunity, and I'll probably come through the village again tonight to see what they're up to."

Larry Gallagher, of Thornville, said he came to the village for a chance to see Willis.

"In all of his films and from what I've heard, he always seems like such a down-to-earth guy, like the guy you could get a beer with," he said. "He always gets the crap kicked out of him, but he can always make it out on top. That's what I like about him."

"He always earned his way whenever he wins."

Prasher has been a Willis fan for as long as she can remember.

"He hasn't been in a movie I haven't liked so getting a chance to be in this one was something I was pretty stoked about," she said.
