Breaking news

According to a release from the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office, about 2 p.m. Wednesday, C. Kenneth Shaw, 79, of Warsaw, was driving his tractor in the area of 27943 County Road 22 when the tractor went off the left side of the road and threw Shaw off the vehicle. The tractor then rolled over onto Shaw. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Todd Shroyer, director of the Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services, said Shaw had been pulling a hay baler behind the tractor at the time of the accident.

"He was just driving on the road, and he was right in front of his own home," Shroyer said. "We're not sure what happened."

CCEMS medics and the Walhonding Valley Fire District responded to the scene.
