Wagnalls events

Registration is underway for story time at the Wagnalls Memorial in Lithopolis, and staff members are ready for some songs, games and stories.

The first session begins Sept. 13 and Sept. 14. The session is six weeks long. There will be two classes, one for 3-year-olds and a second for 4- and 5-year-olds. Each class meets once a week on either Tuesday or Wednesday in the Children’s Library. Registration is required, and the fee is $5 per session.

Home-schoolers, ages 6 to 10, will be exploring the library using the Dewey Decimal System as a guide. Patrons will meet once a month on Tuesdays beginning September 20th. Registration is available at the Children’s Desk.

Dinner theater

Mystery Dinner Theater returns to the Wagnalls Memorial at 6 p.m. Sept. 24.

The production will be “The Wreck of the Enormous,” and attendees are encouraged to come dressed in Titanic attire.

Tickets are on sale now. The cost is $40 per person or $75 per couple, and 100 seats are available. For more information, call 614-837-4765, ext. 126.

School supplies

Through the end of the month, Saint John XXIII Catholic Church in Lithopolis will conduct a school supply drive.

Each July and August, parish members collect school supplies for the local school districts and donate them to be given to families that have trouble meeting their needs. The church asks donors to take one of the supply lists from the table in the Gathering Space inside the church.

For more information, call the parish office at 614-920-1563.

Greenfield Township
