Grand jury hands out 58 charges

BUCYRUS - Justin D. Millhouse II faces up to 174 years in prison after last week's meeting of the Crawford County Grand Jury.

Millhouse II, who is being held in lieu of a $2.5 million bond, was handed 24 charges: nine counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor (all second-degree felonies), nine counts of endangering children (all second-degree felonies) and six counts of sexual battery (all third-degree felonies).

Millhouse was one of 20 accused who face a total of 58 charges.

Clifford A. Macklin was assigned a bond of $250,000 after being charged with tampering with evidence (a third-degree felony), two counts of possession of drugs (both fifth-degree felonies) and obstructing official business (a second-degree misdemeanor).

Another $250,000 bond was assigned to Carolina Solano, who faces a second-degree felony charge of complicity to felonious assault.

Two second-degree felony burglary charges were handed out last week, one each for Julia L. Petrella and Chancler A. Neeley. Each were assigned bonds of $250,000.

Jesse W. Rutrough was given a $150,000 bond for a fifth-degree felony domestic violence charge.

Also assigned a $150,000 bond was Barbara Boothe, who was charged with possession of drugs (a fifth-degree felony) and drug paraphernalia (a fourth-degree misdemeanor).

Jonathan E. Fletcher was handed a third-degree felony charge for retaliation, and assigned a bond of $100,000.

Another $100,000 was assigned to Eugene Sewell Jr., who was charged with assault on a peace officer (a fourth-degree felony) and resisting arrest (a second-degree misdemeanor).

Several smaller charges handed to Myriah M. Nikolaus, who was assigned a bond of $75,000. Nikolaus was charged with possession of drugs (a fifth-degree felony), obstructing official business (a second-degree misdemeanor), unauthorized use of a motor vehicle (a first-degree misdemeanor) and drug paraphernalia (a fourth-degree misdemeanor).

Three fifth-degree felony charges for theft were handed to James S. Baldwin, who was assigned a bond of $25,000.

Tabitha McGlothin, charged with domestic violence (a fourth-degree felony), was given a bond of $50,000.

Also given a bond of $50,000 was Gregory R. Kaple, who was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a fourth-degree felony.

Chad L. Carlisle was charged with possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and was handed a bond of $50,000.

A fifth-degree felony vandalism charge was given to Michael Shaw, along with a bond assignment of $5,000.

William S. Bruce was assigned a $15,000 bond for possession of drugs (a fifth-degree felony) and abusing harmful intoxicants (a first-degree misdemeanor).

A bond of $5,000 was assigned to Zachary T. Peck for his charges of theft (a fourth-degree felony) and drug paraphernalia (a fourth-degree misdemeanor).

Personal recognizance bonds were assigned to: Cody M. Urbine (fourth-degree felony theft and fourth-degree misdemeanor drug paraphernalia), Peter Smith (fifth-degree felony identity fraud) and Jerry Lee Hoskin Jr. (fifth-degree felony possession of drugs, minor misdemeanor possession of drugs and fourth-degree misdemeanor drug paraphernalia).
