Danbury Township buying new Ford Explorer

DANBURY TOWNSHIP - The Danbury Township Trustees approved purchasing a new 2017 Ford Explorer four-door police cruiser from Port Clinton Ford at a cost of $26,865 and outfitting it at D.R. Ebel at a cost of $8,392. The vehicle will be used by the K-9 Officer.

At their July 13 meeting, the trustees also approved off-duty officers working at the Aug. 20 Marblehead Rocks. The township trustees also learned that a grant through the Ohio Attorney General’s Office was approved for $13,988 for the DARE Program.
