Hannah Luft shot 84 on Friday at High Lands Golf Club to lead Newark Catholic to the victory in the season-opening Licking County League meet.

NC finished with a 351, and other scorers were Emily Tyack (88), Patricia Windholtz (89) and Claudia Crumrine (90).

Granville finished second (393), and scorers were Alyssa Newsom (88), Morgan Ryan (94), Meghan Wright (105) and Carley Barrett (106).

Lakewood finished third (430), and scorers were Leah Welker (90), Crystal Hanbaum (98), Bray Wilson (98) and Lauren Bowman (144).

Licking Valley finished fourth (556), and scorers were Casey Chapman (122), Lainee Tate (133), Sydnie Felumlee (145), Cheyanne Turner (156).

Licking Heights finished fifth (576), and scorers were Mariana Vega (88), Sam McKenna (147), Angelique Clay (163) and Zianne Olverson (178).
