The Pokemon Go craze has swept through Zanesville, although Bollinger's tattoo, featuring a cross between Pokemon character Pikachu and Friday the 13th character Jason Voorhees, dates from long before the mobile game burst on the scene. The tattoo honors Bollinger's appreciation for Pokemon and her birthday.

Eric Walker was diagnosed with testicular cancer, which spread to his lymph nodes, in January 2015 during his senior year and half way through the basketball season at Zanesville High School. Walker went through three rounds of chemotheraphy before being declared cancer free in May 2015.

This was McCort's first Pokemon tattoo, but he has been creating tattoo concepts from the franchise with the recent rise in the game's popularity.

Keith Harper of Roseville was diagnosed with a malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor in 2015. Earlier this year he underwent an operation to remove the grapefruit-sized tumor that also took part of his pelvis. The operation left his left leg more than an inch shorter than his right.

Somerset Ohio turned out to salute the late Charles A. White Jr. as a motorcade carrying the former Army Corporal makes its way through the village on Tuesday. White died in a prison camp during the Korean War, but his remains were not identified until earlier this year.

Two people were transported with non-life threatening injuries after a semi-truck drifted into the left lane, forcing the driver of an SUV to swerve and roll the vehicle, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Rich Lanning. The semi-truck driver was issued a marked lanes citation. The crash, which occurred at about 6:10 p.m. at the 152-mile marker, closed both lanes of I-70 for about 45 minutes.  The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Genesis Community Ambulance, Falls Township and Zanesville Fire Department responded to the scene.
