Two arrested after downtown fight
Staff Report
LANCASTER - Two women were arrested Friday following a fight at Ale House 1890 around 11:50 p.m., police said.
Three police officers were across the street from the business at 149 W. Main St. when the fight broke out. Police said the officers realized there were several different fights going on when they arrived at the scene. One police officer said he was getting hit during the fight and that people were not responding to commands to stop fighting.
He said he deployed pepper spray to try to break up the fight he was involved with.
Police said once all the fights were broken up, several people were issued citations, in addition to the two women who were arrested.
