One woman taken to hospital after crash

LANCASTER- One woman was taken to the hospital after her vehicle flipped along Memorial Drive around 1 p.m. on Friday.

Heather Weitz was driving a Honda CRV in the 1100 block of Memorial Drive when she turned east into the parking lot and was hit by driver Naomi Weygandt, 17, traveling north on Memorial Drive.

Weitz was taken to the hospital along with an infant who was with her. Lancaster police said it appeared Weitz was the only person injured and the injuries didn’t appear to be serious.

Weitz is expected to be cited out of the crash.
