ODOT working on Ohio 79, U.S. 36

COSHOCTON - The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced two road projects starting next week in Coshocton County.

Ohio 79 will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday, weather permitting, for multiple culvert replacements from the Licking/Coshocton County Line to a half mile north of Ohio 541. Traffic will be detoured to Ohio 586 to Ohio 16 to Ohio 60.

Resurfacing on U.S. 36 will start Wednesday and last until Sept. 30 by the Shelly Company. Work will start at the Knox County Line and move to the intersection of U.S. 36 with Ohio 16. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times. Cost of the project is $2.68 million.
