Heroin, crack seized at King Road residence

BUCYRUS - Drugs were seized and two people were arrested Thursday as the result of an ongoing heroin investigation.

Sheriff Scott Kent and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office were assisted by the county’s Special Response Team, which also includes the police and fire departments from Bucyrus and Galion, as well as METRICH, in searching a house Thursday at 3889 King Road in Bucyrus.

Officers seized suspected heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana, syringes, drug paraphernalia, cash and other drug-related items, Kent said.

Jamie L. Hall, 33, of 3889 King Road, was inside the residence and taken into custody on a probation violation warrant from Crawford County Common Pleas Court. Stephanie Lockhart, 26, 68 ½ Second St., Shelby, also was present and taken into custody on a probation violation warrant from Shelby Municipal Court.

The sheriff’s office said the investigation is ongoing.
