Police Calls: Armed intruders threaten, steal

100 block of Poplar Street, Mansfield - A man told police Monday about an aggravated burglary Sunday, during which one man knocked on the door and then came back with another man. When the resident opened the door, the two unknown males forced entry into his home and one of them held a gun to the resident's head, threatening to kill him. The victim told police he stabbed one of the intruders in the stomach with a kitchen knife and that the intruders took a television and left. The victim told police the same men robbed him three weeks ago.

Circle K, 98 Lexington Ave., Mansfield - A cashier at the store Sunday night said an older woman stole two cans of Milwaukee's Best beer from the store. She was seen on surveillance footage taking the cans from the cooler, placing them inside her purse and walking out the door without paying.

200 block of West Third Street, Mansfield - Police on Monday morning stopped a driver for failure to use a turn signal and issued an 18-year-old woman two summonses in lieu of arrest on charges of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, and a traffic citation  A 35-year-old man was issued a summons on a possession of marijuana. Another person was issued a summons in lieu of arrest for violation of curfew.

Mansfield - A man reported Monday his live-in girlfriend pushed him down the stairs while the two were fighting about financial issues. The 45-year-old girlfriend was arrested for drunkenness and charged with domestic violence.

Mansfield - A woman found and reported suspicious photos on her ex-husband's computer Monday. An 11-year-old female was listed as a victim in the case, which was listed as a pandering obscenity and gross sexual imposition report. The computer was submitted to the crime lab.

100 block of West Third Street, Mansfield - A woman reported Monday someone used her child support account card to make two unauthorized transactions.

1200 block of Park Avenue West, Mansfield - A Wooster man told police Monday a woman he had met online stole his debit card and cleaned out his bank account after he gave her the card to pump gas for him at the Mansfield location and she never returned it. the man knew only the first name of the woman.

Lock It Up West, 1201 W. Longview Ave. - A 47-year-old male driver rented a U-Haul truck and failed to return the vehicle as scheduled in December, the victim reported Monday. An employee spoke with the driver on Feb. 5 and he said he would return the vehicle to extend his rental, but he failed to do so and now his phone is disconnected.
