Lights and Sirens: Comments overheard; arrest results

TUESDAY

ARRESTS

•A report of a theft from True Value, 713 S. Sandusky Ave. was investigated. A Bucyrus woman was charged with theft and released pending a court appearance. 7:16 a.m.

•Officer conducted a traffic stop near West Oakwood Avenue and Grove Avenue, and both the driver and passenger had active arrest warrants. The two Seneca County women were arrested on the warrants and were released after posting bond and receiving a court date. 10:49 a.m.

•Officers on station were asked to mediate a child custody dispute. A 31-year-old Shelby woman was arrested at the police department on a Morrow County warrant. She was transported to Crawford County Sheriff’s Office to await extradition. 4:59 p.m.

•A 35-year-old woman was issued a criminal summons in the 100 block of Schell Avenue and released with a pending court appearance. 7:37 p.m.

•A 41-year-old man was arrested in the 800 block of Wilbur Street on a warrant out of Crawford County. He was issued with a date to appear in court and released. 8:49 p.m.

•Officers responded to a complaint of an individual behaving in a drunk, disorderly and disruptive manner in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street. A 56-year-old man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober. 10:19 p.m.

•Officers intervened in a domestic argument in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street, and arrested a 25-year-old woman on a warrant out of Ontario Police Department. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for Ontario Police Department. 10:42 p.m.

INCIDENTS

•Officers assisted Life Support in the 500 block of West Charles Street. 7:44 a.m.

•Officers assisted Crawford County Sheriff’s Office delivering a message in the 900 block of West Perry Street. 9:41 a.m.

•An officer assisted a woman stuck in a parking lot in the 100 block of East Mansfield Street. 10:34 a.m.

•A domestic problem in the 1300 block of High St. was mediated. 11:01 a.m.

•A domestic problem in the 400 block of South Spring St was mediated. 12:20 p.m.

•A report of possible child abuse was received and remains under investigation. 1:05 p.m.

•A report of a domestic problem in the 800 block of South Sandusky Avenue was received. Officers were unable to make contact with any one at that address. 1:37 p.m.

•Officers investigated a report of solicitors in the 1000 block of Tiffin Street. They were gone upon officers’ arrival. 1:45 p.m.

•A two-vehicle non-injury crash was investigated and a citation issued in the area of Rosedale and Beal avenues. 2:51 p.m.

•A two-vehicle non-injury crash was investigated and a citation issued in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue. 3:21 p.m.

•A two vehicle non-injury crash was investigated and a citation issued in the 100 block of North Lane Street. 3:43 p.m.

•A disturbance was investigated in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street. A welfare check was made on a patron at the store. 3:58 p.m.

•A report of a domestic problem in the area of Reid Street was received. Officers were unable to make contact with anyone at that residence. 4:06 p.m.

•A pair of glasses found in the 1700 block of Whetstone Street was turned over to the police department. 5 p.m.

•A disturbance among occupants in a motor vehicle in the 100 block of East Mansfield Street was reported. The individuals were contacted and a welfare check was made. 5:13 p.m.

•A 9-1-1 hang up call in the 100 block of Schell Avenue was investigated. The resident had not called 9-1-1. 6:28 p.m.

•Officers responded to a report of a dog that had been hit by a vehicle in the 900 block of East Mansfield Street. The owner of the dog was claimed it. 7:29 p.m.

•Officers took a report of a hit-skip crash on the Walmart parking lot. 7:43 p.m.

•An East Mansfield Street resident reported a red and white Mongoose Mountain bike stolen. 7:55 p.m.

•A traffic citation was issued to a man in the 100 block of East Charles Street for a stop sign violation. 8:16 p.m.

•A resident in the 500 block of South East Street reported hearing noises out back of their house. Officers checked the area and found everything to be all right. 10:04 p.m.

WEDNESDAY

ARRESTS

•Officers responded to Walmart for a report of an individual overheard declaring he had escaped from a post release program and was going to commit a theft. Officers investigated and a 35-year-old man was arrested for theft and trespassing. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for a court appearance or bond. 2:28 a.m.

INCIDENTS

•Officers on patrol investigated an alarm found at the Picking Co. on South Walnut Street. Everything was found to be all right. 1:10 a.m.

•An East Mansfield Street resident reported his vehicle vandalized. 2:08 a.m.
