One dead after a two-car crash

COSHOCTON - One person died after a two-car crash Saturday afternoon.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call at 1:23 p.m. reporting a crash with injuries near 17736 Ohio 83. Emergency services personnel found a 54-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle and crossed the center line. Her vehicle collided with an oncoming vehicle driven by a 44-year-old man.

Both drivers were transported to Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. The woman was pronounced dead at the hospital. The man's condition was unavailable at this time.

Names of the victims are being withheld pending notification of families.

Assisting at the scene were Coshocton County EMS, Conesville Fire Department, REACT, and Prince's Wrecker.
