Boys Basketball Roundup: Redskins suffer setback

Joey Brenner had 15 points Saturday but Port Clinton lost the non-conference matchup.

The Redskins were outscored 22-13 in the decisive third quarter.

Andrew Murphy scored 15 points for Anthony Wayne.

The Wildcats (5-15, 3-10) fell at home on Saturday to visiting Old Fort in nonleague play. Old Fort led at the half, 36-29.

Woodmore was led by Mitchell Miller with a team-high 12 points while Derek Wank added 11 points.

Old Fort (13-7, 7-2) was led by Jacob Webb with a game-high 18 points and six assists followed by Hootie Cleveland with 15 points and two steals. Eric Bell added 11 points and 14 rebounds.

The Rockets (4-16, 0-10) fell on the road to host Bellevue on Saturday. Bellevue led at the half, 29-14.

Owen Hartley scored a game-high 21 points for Bellevue alongside Trey Ruhlman with 15 points and Kyle Geary scored 14.

Oak Harbor was led by Matt Harris with a team-high nine points.
