Police log: Unknown substance kills grass

THEFT
• 6:14 p.m., a caller reported a two-plank dock was stolen from the Sandusky River, 2900 block C.R. 950, Riley Township.
VANDALISM
• 4:29 p.m., a caller reported their mailbox and trash can were vandalized. The trash can was dumped into a ditch and the mailbox was broken, 1700 block Ohio 412, Riley Township.

• 11:59 a.m., a caller reported someone used an unknown substance to kill the grass in her front yard, 10 block Paula Court, Ballville Township.
CHARGED
• A 37-year-old Bellevue man was charged with one misdemeanor count each of possession of a dangerous drug and possession of drug abuse instruments.
• A 50-year-old Fremont woman was charged with two misdemeanor counts of theft and one misdemeanor count of probation violation.
• A 32-year-old Bellevue woman was charged with one misdemeanor count of domestic violence.
• Christopher Leonard, 33, of Sandusky, was charged with one felony count of drug possession and one misdemeanor count of failure to appear.
• Ryan Mosser, 36, of Fremont, was charged with one felony count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
• A 20-year-old Clyde man was charged with one misdemeanor count each of probation violation and domestic violence.
