Grand jury indicts 18

BUCYRUS — Eighteen people were indicted by the Crawford County grand jury earlier this week on a variety of felony charges.

Several people arrested on drug charges after recent search warrants across the county were among those indicted.

•Jaems E. Bonner, felony assault with gun specification, two counts, second-degree felonies, $500,000 bond, Bucyrus Police.

•Jamie Lester, burglary, two counts, second-degree felonies, $250,000 bond, Bucyrus Police.

•Carl S. Massey, felony assault with gun specification, two counts, second-degree felonies, $100,000 bond (10 percent), Bucyrus Police.

•Sean L. Hazleton, weapons under disability, third-degree felony, $150,000 bond, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.

•Christopher J. Eichelberger, weapons under disability, third-degree felony, $150,000 bond, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.

•Robert A. Nead Jr., trafficking in drugs, third-degree felony, $100,000 bond, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.

•Ronald J. Cress, attempted burglary, third-degree felony, $100,000 bond, Bucyrus Police.

•Thomas Owens, trafficking in drugs (crystal meth), fourth-degree felony, $250,000 bond, Galion Police.

•John Hayes Jr., duty to register, fourth-degree felony, $75,000 bond, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.

•Nicholas C. Biederman, trafficking and possession of drugs, two counts, fifth-degree felonies, $250,000 bond, Bucyrus Police.

•Finley E. Foust Jr., possession of drugs (heroin), fifth-degree felony, $100,000 bond, Galion Police.

•Randy R. Rittenour, possession of drugs (heroin), fifth-degree felony, $75,000 bond, Ohio Highway Patrol.

•Jonathon T. Bigelow, possession of drugs (heroin), fifth-degree felony, $75,000 bond, Ohio Highway Patrol.

•James E. Schenk Jr., possession of drugs (heroin), fifth-degree felony, $50,000 bond, Galion Police.

•Nikki Zealor, possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony, $25,000 bond, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.

•Charlotte Baldridge, possession of drugs (cocaine), fifth-degree felony, $25,000 bond, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.

•William W. Dean, trafficking in drugs (heroin), fifth-degree felony, $25,000 bond, Bucyrus Police.

•Branden Morris, fraudulent voter registration, fifth-degree felony, personal recognizance bond, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.

The county prosecutor’s office said four cases remain unserved, two cases were dismissed as part of probation violations, and one bill of information was filed. The prosecutor’s office handled 25 new cases in August and 271 through the first eight months of the year.
