One reported in custody after foot pursuit

NEWARK— A man was arrested on a warrant after a foot pursuit was reported Tuesday in Newark.

The pursuit began around 2:35 p.m. Tuesday. A Newark Division of Police officer reported recognizing the suspect and began a foot pursuit down East Main Street, according to police.

The man was arrested about five minutes later, police reported.
