South Central Power announces grant recipients
LANCASTER – The South Central Power Foundation announced these grant recipients at South Central Power’s recent quarterly meeting.
Thirty civic, educational and charitable organizations received a combined $115,577.50 in grants from the foundation.
The foundation awarded grants to: Bloom Carroll Elementary PTO; Bloom Carroll Music Boosters; By The Way Free Clinic; Camp Oty’Okwa; Community Kitchen, LLC; Destination Canal Winchester; Fairfield County Antique Tractor Club; Fairfield Union Local Schools; Lancaster Fresh Market Inc.; Liberty Union-Thurston Middle School; and Victory Hill Church.
Operation Round Up, a program that automatically “rounds up” the electric cooperative members’ monthly bill to the next highest dollar funds the South Central Power Foundation. Members may easily opt out by sending a message via www.southcentralpower.com or by calling the cooperative.
