MARION – Police have no identified suspects in several incidents of vandalized tires reported Sunday across the city.

According to Marion Police Department reports, 15 tires were damaged in the parking lot of the Marion Towers at 400 Delaware Avenue.

The police report listed the case as closed and said the incident was reported at 6:30 a.m. Marion Towers’ management declined to comment.

Two county vehicles also had tires reported damaged Sunday morning, one in the 100 block of North Main Street, reported at 8:16 a.m., and one at the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, reported at 8:27 a.m.

The vehicle at the prosecutor’s office belongs to that department, while the vehicle damaged on North Main Street is used by the Adult Probation Office.

Police reports did not indicate other vehicles were vandalized at either location that day. No other information was available Tuesday afternoon.
