Grand jury hands down 21 indictments

BUCYRUS – In an effort to move a crush of several felony cases along, the Crawford County grand jury, empaneled for the second time during June in the county’s Common Pleas Court, handed down 21 indictments this week, most of them drug-related. On June 8, the grand jury handed down 32 indictments, those largely drug-related as well.

“While we are making some headway in fighting illegal drug use, it is clear that the biggest problem facing Crawford County is still illegal drug use,” Crawford County Prosecutor Matthew Crall said.

This week’s indictments are as follows:

April L. Dyer, engaging in a pattern of corrupt activities, second-degree felony; possession of heroin, third-degree felony; trafficking of heroin, third-degree felony; $1 million bond.

Gary W. Poth, engaging in a pattern of corrupt activities, second-degree felony; possession of heroin, third-degree felony; trafficking of heroin, third-degree felony; $1 million bond.

Joshua J. Keith, engaging in a pattern of corrupt activities, second-degree felony; possession of heroin, third-degree felony; trafficking of heroin, third-degree felony; $1 million bond.

Alonzo L. West, failure to register, first-degree felony, $250,000 bond.

Chade A. Kennedy, burglary, second-degree felony, $250,000 bond (Crawford County Municipal Court bond $100,000).

Brooke L. Wiechum, possession of heroin, fifth-degree felony; possession of Oxycodone, fifth-degree felony; $250,000 fond.

Douglas Swart, possession of Oxycodone, fifth-degree felony; possession of Fentanyl, fifth-degree felony; $200,000 bond.

Chelsea L. Prosser, possession of heroin, fifth-degree felony; trafficking of heroin, fifth-degree felony; $250,000 bond.

Natalie M. McIntyre, possession of heroin, fourth-degree felony, $150,000 bond.

Ronald A. Pavlus, possession of heroin, fourth-degree felony, $150,000 bond.

Andrew Callahan, domestic violence, fourth-degree felony, $50,000 bond.

Robin R. Hall, possession of heroin, fifth-degree felony, $150,000 bond.

Joshua R. Denzer, breaking and entering, fifth-degree felony, $150,000 bond.

Adam T. Young, breaking and entering, fifth-degree felony, $150,000 bond.

Paul A. Villavicencio, possession of heroin, fifth-degree felony, $100,000 bond (Municipal Court bond $150,000).

Joshua A. Smith, possession of methamphetamine, fifth-degree felony, $100,000 bond (Municipal Court bond $50,000).

Alyssa M. Pangallo, possession of heroin, fifth-degree felony, $75,000 bond.

Angela Carroll (aka McCrea), possession of Oxycodone, fifth-degree felony, $75,000 bond.

James D. Wills, possession of Oxycodone, fifth-degree felony, $50,000 bond (Municipal Court bond $25,000).

Aaron M. Watkins, possession of methamphetamine, fifth-degree felony, $50,000 bond.

Warrants were issued for the arrest of five persons on unserved indictments.
