A southbound driver on Ohio 93, near County Road 171, locked her brakes and drove off the right side of the roadway to avoid hitting a car turning onto Ohio 93, deputies report. She crossed an embankment and hit another vehicle. No further information was reported.

Sunday

A Gambier woman lost control of her vehicle on Ohio 541 West at about 4:04 p.m., left the roadway and rolled several times. She was uninjured.

A Zanesville man lost control of his vehicle on Ohio 541 West at 4:19 p.m., left the roadway and rolled several times. He was uninjured.

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision in the 44000 block of U.S. 36 at 9:43 p.m. A Coshocton-area woman was taken by emergency medical helicopter to the Ohio State Medical Center in Columbus, where she remains listed in fair condition. The other driver was treated at the scene.

Two inmates at the Coshocton County Justice Center were charged with misdemeanor assault after reportedly attacking a third inmate in B Block. No injuries were reported, according to Lt. Chad Jackson, jail administrator.
