Troon Crossing fire sends one to hospital

ZANESVILLE – Crews took one person to the hospital with minor injuries Tuesday night after a fire burned a home at 744 Troon Crossing in Zanesville.

Fire Chief Gene Hanning said the fire started around 7:15 p.m. and crews contained it within 20 minutes of arriving.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Scanner traffic indicated crews evacuated surrounding houses as a precaution.

Zanesville, Perry Township and Washington Township crews responded to the fire.
