Suter tapped for PCHS Senior Spotlight

PORT CLINTON - Port Clinton High School announced the Senior Spotlight for May is Alex Brough Suter.

Suter is a PCHS cheerleader and active in numerous organizations at PCHS. She is a three-year member of the a cappella group, Touch of Class. She has participated in International Club, Future Professionals in Medicine, Environmental Club, Freshman Mentor and National Honor Society. She is treasurer of the Drama Club and a class officer for the Class of 2016, serving as treasurer.

Outside of school, she has been in 4-H and was selected as the 2016 Ottawa County Junior Fair Queen. She is also a gymnast, competing at the national level. In 2015, she was a national champion for the Sandusky YMCA team by taking first place in the beam, floor and all around and was awarded three silver medals in 2014.

Suter plans to attend the University of Toledo majoring in biology with a minor in psychology. She is the daughter of Rae Brough and Andrew Suter.
