Six indicted on felonies

COSHOCTON - A Coshocton County grand jury has indicted six people on felony charges:

•Jeremy L. Cottrell, 44, of 616 Main St., Coshocton, is charged with burglary and attempted theft in connection with an Oct. 18 incident at a Coshocton residence. The burglary charge is a second-degree felony, punishable by up to eight years in prison, while the theft charge is a second-degree misdemeanor.

•Wendy S. Metheny, 39, of 648 John St., Coshocton, is charged with burglary, a second-degree felony punishable by up to eight years in prison, and aggravated menacing, a first-degree misdemeanor. Both charges stem from an Oct. 22 incident at a Coshocton residence.

•Drew A. Conley, 28, of 618 Franklin Ave., Conesville, is charged with two counts of theft of a firearm, both third-degree felonies, involving a 40-caliber handgun and a .22-caliber handgun.

•Cody C. Mills, 28, last known address the Noble Correctional Institution, Caldwell, is charged with three counts of receiving stolen property and one count of having weapons while under disability. Three of those charges are felonies, while one is a misdemeanor.

The first receiving charge and the weapons count stem from possession of the same 40-caliber handgun as in the Conley case. The second receiving charge stems from the possession of more than $1,2000 worth of tools reported stolen from a Coshocton company between June 9 and July 9.

The third receiving charge is a first-degree misdemeanor involving a chainsaw.

Chad A. Emler, 33, of 138-E Hickory St., Coshocton, is charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle, a 2002 Ford Explorer, on Nov. 15. That charge is a fourth-degree felony.

•Justin A. McNichols, 31, of 639 John St., Coshocton, is charged with unlawful possession of a dangerous ordnance, blasting caps, on Sept. 2. That charge is a fifth-degree felony.
