Police log: Neighbor shoots bottle rockets at home

FIREWORKS COMPLAINT

• 8:56 p.m., a caller told deputies a neighbor was shooting bottle rockets at her home, 900 block Everett Road, Ballville Township.

FIGHT

• 2:40 a.m., a caller said she was assaulted at a hospital and said her wrists were injured, 1500 block C.R. 268.

CHARGED

• A 27-year-old Gibsonburg man was charged with one misdemeanor count each of obstruction of official business and receiving stolen property.

• Howard Riley, 25, of Fremont, was charged with one felony count of illegally manufacturing drugs and one misdemeanor count of probation violation.

• A 46-year-old Old Fort man was charged with one misdemeanor count of probation violation.

• Jordan Walby, 24, of Gibsonburg, was charged with one felony count of theft.

• 8:58 p.m., a caller said his cell phone was stolen from his locker at Don Paul Stadium, 1100 Miller St.

THEFT

• 8:22 p.m., a caller said his son’s gaming system was stolen from a locked cabinet, 300 block Sandusky Avenue.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

• 11:40 a.m., a caller said someone toilet papered his house, 1500 block Buckland Avenue.

BREAKING AND ENTERING

• 4:43 a.m., police responded to a call of a man attempting to enter a residence through a window. A man was located by police who said he was not trying to break into the home, 300 block Sandusky Avenue.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

• A 13-year-old Fremont juvenile was charged with domestic violence after allegedly hitting his grandmother, 100 block North Ohio Avenue.

JUVENILE COMPLAINT

• 12:13 a.m., a caller said a group of juveniles were attempting to light a tree on fire using hair spray and a lighter. An adult said he knocked down a large wasps nest and said he was the one who lit the tree on fire while trying to kills the wasps.

ANIMAL COMPLANT

• 8:02 a.m., a caller said a raccoon in her yard was acting sick and was concerned it would be a problem for her dog. An officer shot the sick raccoon and disposed of its body, 600 block Thompson Street.

VANDALISM

• 2:06 a.m., a caller said someone threw an object at her home and damaged the siding, 500 block South Wood Street

PUBLIC URINATION

• 1:55 a.m., a caller said an intoxicated man urinated on his front porch and wanted him removed from his property. Police drove the man to a friend’s house, 500 block North Park Avenue.
