MedFlight opens new helicopter and base

CHILLICOTHE – MedFlight celebrates the opening of two local helicopter bases July 24.

According to a release, the non-profit air and ground critical care medical transportation company will celebrate the opening of a helicopter at Ross County Airport and a mobile intensive care unit at Adena’s main campus in Chillicothe.

The ribbon cutting, small presentation, snacks, drinks and other festivities will begin at 11 a.m. The helicopter and MICU will be available on-site for education.
