Ballet @ the Brickyard: Neos Dance Theatre’s second annual event. Outdoor gallery space opens at 6:30 p.m. featuring local artists, live visual artists, live music, and local food truck vendors, plus VIP area with wine, cigars, hor d’oeuvres, desserts, cognac and coffee. Pre-show entertainment featuring local performers begins at 8 p.m. Main performance featuring Neos Dance Theatre at 8:45 p.m. Tickets: $25, or $50 for VIP. Plymouth Bicentennial: Activities, music, parade, fireworks and more. Aug. 1-9, with events scheduled at several locations in the village. Coincides with annual Plymouth-Silver King Festival, Aug. 6 to 8, behind the police station.

Bike MS Buckeye Breakaway: The two-day inspirational ride (formerly the Pedal to the Point Ride)is held every year to support people living with multiple sclerosis by providing programs, services and MS research to find the cure for the chronic, unpredictable disease of the central nervous system. Begins at Brunswick High School, 3581 Center Road, Brunswick, on Aug. 1. Registration is $75; riders are responsible for meeting a $300 fundraising minimum. New for 2015 is an overnight party at Ashland University. Riders will be able to enjoy a variety of fantastic food, entertainment, recreational options, a Team Village and other festivities.
