Assault at J.D. Henderson’s investigated

LANCASTER - As Lancaster police were patrolling near J.D. Henderson’s early Sunday morning, a witness of an assault at the bar flagged the officer for assistance.

The reported assault took place at approximately 1:50 a.m.

The victim was transported the Fairfield Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, which were severe lacerations.

The investigation is ongoing. There are no suspects at this time.
