Elyria man dead after ATV crash

COSHOCTON - An Elyria man died Friday afternoon after an ATV crash on CR 429, according to the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office.

The man, 50-year-old Clivy W. Griggs Jr., had been riding his ATV in a wooded area on private property and appeared to have flipped the four-wheeler onto himself, according to the sheriff's office.

The accident was reported around 1:45 p.m. on Friday. Coshocton County Squad, Conesville Fire Department and the Dog Warden assisted at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
