Firefighters respond to Wendy's

Firefighters from Mansfield and Washington Township responded to a fire call at the Wendy's restaurant on Possum Run Road Thursday afternoon. They discovered a rooftop heating unit had overheated, causing smoke to enter the dining room. There was no actual fire, and the restaurant remained open as firefighters determined the cause of the smoke, shut off the unit and cleared the scene.
