• 1:48 a.m., Jeanette S. Weigel, 59, of Toledo, was cited for operating driving under the influence, marked lanes and a cracked windshield after crossing over the center line at 30 mph in a 45 mph zone. Weigel told a sheriff’s deputy that she had allergies and may have taken Benadryl but was trying to pull over to get paperwork to rent a camp site at East Harbor, 100 block of Buckeye Blvd., city of Port Clinton.

MISSING TEEN

11:04 p.m., an Oak Harbor family said their 17-year old son was supposed to be back at 9 p.m. for curfew but hadn’t arrived, 30 block of N. Leutz Road, Salem Township.

NON-INJURY ACCIDENT

• 3:59 p.m., Ashley S. Huff, 30, of Sandusky was cited for Assured Clear Distance after striking a Port Clinton woman’s vehicle while attempting to cross into the left turn lane northbound on State Route 53, Portage Township.

FOUND PROPERTY

6:08 a.m., a man said a stolen ATV was recovered along the woods line of his property, 1100 block of N. Elliston Trowbridge Road.

NON-INJURY ACCIDENT

• 2:14 p.m., Briana F. Meredith, 26, of Toledo, was cited for Assured Clear Distance after striking the rear end of a Grove City woman’s car at the intersection W. Lakeshore Drive and State Route 2, Erie Township.

UNDERAGE CONSUMPTION/OBSTRUCTION OF OFFICE BUSINESS

11:13 p.m., Christopher Stacey, 19, of Elmore, was cited for obstruction of official business and underage consumption after family member called officers and said he was drinking and breaking things in their home. When approached by a deputy, Stacey ran and the deputy and two Elmore police officers had to go after him, 1500 block of S. Elliston Trowbridge Road, Harris Township.

DEER VS. CAR ACCIDENT

10:40 p.m., a Woodville man was driving his 2002 Chevy Trailblazer eastbound on State Route 2 when he struck a deer carcass in the road, Benton Township.

THEFT

10:40 p.m., a Portage Township man said a 22-inch flat-screen TV, a lawn mower and leaf blower were stolen from his camp lot, 2200 block of E. Harbor Road, Portage Township.

NON-INJURY ACCIDENT

• 4:48 p.m., a Bowling Green man was driving his 2015 Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound on State Route 163 when he lost control and went off the side of the road, rolling the bike over in the grass, Salem Township.

PROPERTY DAMAGE

• 2:18 p.m., a Portage Township man said a white van drove through his property and left tire tracks in the grass and field, 4700 block of E. Bayshore Road.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY

• 2:16 p.m., a business owner said the back door of her establishment had been forcefully opened and the deadbolt was pushed in about three inches, 2900 block of E. Harbor Road, Portage Township.

THEFT

• 1:48 p.m., a Gypsum business owner said bundles of siding and lumber were stolen from outside the old Care and Share building. She asked for an increased police presence, 900 block of S. Lake St., Portage Township.

THEFT

• 1:03 p.m., a Harris Township man said someone stole a 5,200-watt Devilbiss Generator, 50 feet of electrical cable and a gray garbage can from his barn. The items totaled about $1,500 he said, 3500 block of N. Elliston Trowbridge Road, Harris Township.

DEER VS. CAR ACCIDENT

• 5:55 a.m., a Port Clinton resident was traveling westbound on SR 163 in a Honda Accord when a deer entered the roadway. The driver was unable to stop and struck the deer, Erie Township.

CIVIL COMPLAINT

• 9:20 p.m., a Bay Township man said his neighbor bought his 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis for $1,400 “as is,” about two months ago. The buyer continued to contact the seller, saying he was responsible for the $400 head gasket repair that had occurred after he bought the car. The seller did not think he was responsible for the repair cost, since he sold the car as is, 1200 block of W. Fremont Road, Bay Township.

THEFT

• 7:49 p.m., an Erie Township woman said change and 10 Oxycodone pills were stolen from her residence while she was at work. The woman said she had video surveillance of two juveniles on her property around the time the incident allegedly took place, 200 block of S. Meachem Road, Erie Township.

POSSESSION/SPEED/DRIVING UNDER SUSPENSION

• 11:23 p.m., Anthony Walker Jr., of Toledo, was cited for driving under suspension, speed and possession of raw marijuana after being stopped for driving 67 mph in a 55 mph zone. When approaching the car, Walker told the sheriff’s deputy that his license was suspended and that he was driving the vehicle of his friend, Dionte Garrard of Sandusky, because he wasn’t feeling well. The deputy noticed the smell of burnt marijuana and Walker handed over a small bag of marijuana. Garrard was cited for wrongful entrustment, County Road #98 and State Route 19, Carroll Township.

UNRULY JUVENILE/THEFT

•10:30 p.m., a Salem township man said $300 in cash was taken from his pants pocket while he was outside working. When he confronted his son about it, the 15-year-old pushed him and knocked him over, 800 block of N. Behlman Road, Salem Township.
