Police log: Grandmother hits grandson with umbrella

• 12:06 p.m., officers request assistance from deputies after a grandmother hit her grandson with an umbrella after he ran away from home, 800 block Smith Road, Fremont.

FIGHT

• 1:05 a.m., deputies responded to a domestic dispute call that turned violent between a woman and her mother-in-law, 550 block C.R. 294.

CHARGED

• Matthew Frank, 32, of Bellevue, was charged with one felony count each of theft from an elderly and misusing a credit card.

• James Liggins, 48, of Fremont, was charged with two felony counts of domestic violence.

• A 22-year-year-old Clyde man was charged with one misdemeanor count of failure to appear.

• 2:54 a.m., A 28-year-old Fremont man was charged with one misdemeanor count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

• 5:53 p.m., a caller said juveniles were lying in the roadway. The caller said the juveniles left the roadway when a car drove through, 2890 block Flatrock Road.
