THORNVILLE – Three people were arrested and charged with felonies after being accused of selling drugs at a weekend concert at Legend Valley Concert Venue and Campground.

Daniel Drew

The concert venue hosted the 16th annual Gathering of the Juggalos, which features a variety of music, including the Insane Clown Posse.

On Friday, two people were arrested for drug offenses. According to Licking County court records, Daniel L. Drew, 28, last known address 17 Bradley St., Lewiston, Maine, was charged with trafficking in cocaine, a fifth-degree felony.

An undercover detective reportedly saw Drew with a sign that read “Cocaine” and noticed multiple transactions taking place. Court records show the detective bought $20 of cocaine from Drew with a recorded bill, then arrested Drew.

During a bond hearing Monday, Drew told Magistrate Matthew George he “made a bad choice” while at the concert.

George set Drew’s bond at $15,000.

Also on Friday, 19-year-old John W. Reardon, last known address 67 Marion Road, Wareham, Massachusetts, was arrested for aggravated trafficking, a third-degree felony.

According to court records, an undercover officer saw Reardon “sitting on an access road next to a topless female baring the writing of ‘Molly for sale’ written across her chest.”

The undercover officer reportedly witnessed two drug transactions and contacted uniformed officers, who arrested the pair. Reardon reportedly escaped briefly, but was quickly caught and several bags of MDMA and LSD were located in his possession, according to court records.

George set Reardon’s bond at $35,000.

On Sunday, 33-year-old Rafael V. Campos, last known address 3509 W. 59th St., Chicago, was charged with trafficking in LSD, a third-degree felony.

According to court records, officers were investigating an assault when they located Campos, who had reported his backpack stolen. Campos reportedly recovered his backpack, which was taken as evidence.

During a search, 18 pills were located in Campos’ hand and a bag with 191 unit doses of LSD was found in his backpack, according to court records.

Campos reportedly admitted to using LSD, but denied possessing the drugs, according to court records.

George set Campos’ bond at $50,000.

According to court records, Campos has prior convictions for drug charges in Michigan and Illinois.

All three men could face additional charges when the cases are presented to a grand jury in the coming weeks.

The Gathering of the Juggalos has been held in Licking County two other times, the most recent being in 2014.

A 27-year-old woman died after attending the concert last year, but her death was determined to be related to a pre-existing medical condition.
