Free summer lunch program begins Monday

LANCASTER – The After School Programs of Lancaster is kicking off its summer lunch program, which will serve free lunches to children up to the age of 18 beginning Monday.

The lunch program runs from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. through Aug. 7. Lunches will be served at East Elementary, Stanberry school, General Sherman Junior High, West After School Center, 620 Garfield Avenue; Hunterwood Park, 330 Trace Drive; Head Start-Utica Center, 114 Mount Ida Ave.; and the Robert K. Fox Family Y, 465 W. Sixth Ave.

The After School Programs of Lancaster will also provide summer childcare with field trips, art and cooking classes, exercise classes and trip to the pool. For more information on childcare, call 740-653-5678.
