Fairfield County Common Pleas Indictments

Corey Bates, 29, of Orient, was indicted on one count of escape, a third-degree felony. This charge stems from an incident on or about Feb. 6 to March 5.

Stephen Sturgeon, 33, of Lancaster, was indicted on charges of burglary, a second-degree felony, and petty theft, a first-degree misdemeanor. Sturgeon is accused of stealing jewelry on March 19.

Sean T. Hawkins, 24, of Lancaster, was indicted on two counts of receiving stolen property, fifth-degree felonies; two counts of forgery, fifth-degree felonies; and possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony. Hawkins is accused of receiving a stolen credit card on March 17.

Christopher B. Hart, 40, of Lancaster, was indicted on charges of robbery, a second-degree felony, and petty theft, a first-degree misdemeanor. Hart is accused of stealing cigarette cartons from Speedway and either attempting or threatening to inflict physical harm to someone in the process on March 18.

Allington P. Tittle Jr., 18, of Pickerington, was indicted on one count of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony. Tittle is accused of receiving a stolen license plate on March 18.

Jason W. Gatten, 37, of Lancaster, was indicted on charges of attempted burglary, a fourth-degree felony; two counts of receiving stolen property, a first-degree misdemeanor, and possessing criminal tools, a first-degree misdemeanor. These charges stem from an incident on March 19.

Joshua A. McDill, 32, of Lancaster, was indicted on one count of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them, a third-degree felony. McDill is accused of driving under the influence on March 23 after having been convicted of or pleaded guilty to five or more similar violations.

Randy R. Crist, 44, of Lancaster, was indicted on one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Crist is accused of possessing methamphetamine on March 27.

Gabrian T. Heisler, 22, address unavailable, was indicted on one count of trafficking in marijuana, a fourth-degree felony. Heisler is accused of trafficking marijuana within the vicinity of a juvenile or school while in the possession of a firearm on or about Sept. 1, 2015 to March 25.

William C. Dennison, 38, of Rushville, was indicted on charges of possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony, and possessing drug abuse instruments, a first-degree misdemeanor. Dennison is accused of possessing heroin on or about Jan. 5 to Jan. 6.

Sarah A. Shepard, 29, of Rushville, was indicted on charges of possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony, and possessing drug abuse instruments, a second-degree misdemeanor. Shepard is accused of possessing heroin on or about Jan. 5 to Jan.6.

Donnetta L. French, 35, of Columbus, was indicted on charges of forgery, a fifth-degree felony, and assault, a fourth-degree felony. French is accused of facilitating fraud on Fairfield National Bank through a forged check on April 2.

Gabrielle L. Smith, 32, of Columbus, was indicted on charges of theft, a fifth-degree felony; receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony; and receiving stolen property, a first-degree misdemeanor. Smith is accused of stealing clothing and apparel from Victoria’s Secret on March 31.

Willie Harris, 48, of Columbus, was indicted on charges of theft, a fifth-degree felony; receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony; and receiving stolen property, a first-degree misdemeanor. Harris is accused of stealing clothing and apparel from Victoria’s Secret on March 31.

Travis C. Luby, 35, of Lancaster, was indicted on charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a third-degree felony; aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony; and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor. Luby is accused of trafficking methamphetamine on or about Dec. 9 to March 30.

Genevieve M. Bean, 24, homeless, was indicted on one count of robbery, a third-degree felony. This charge stems from an incident on March 30.
