Girls Basketball Roundup: Black Bears lose on the road

Indian Valley 61, River View 57

The Black Bears fell on the road Saturday over host Indian Valley. Indian Valley led at the half, 28-23.

Kiarra Rakestraw led Indian Valley with a game-high 20 points followed by Courtney Mizer with 14 points and Alisha Garbrandt scored 12.

River View was led by Cydney Whiteus with a team-high 13 points alongside Mackenzie Huff with 12 points and Cassidy Whiteus had 11 points.

The Redskins lost at home on Saturday over visiting Marietta. Coshocton led at the half, 18-15.

Ty Washburn and Hannah Grosel led Marietta with a team-high 11 points apiece.

Coshocton was led by Madison Jackson with a game-high 12 points while Tyra Woods scored 11.
