Police log: 11 guns, crossbow stolen from unlocked home

THEFT

• 8:42 p.m., a Catawba Island Township woman said her purse was stolen at a wedding reception the night before and a charge had been made on her bank card at a gas station in Fremont, 3500 block of NE Catawba Road.

CIVIL COMPLAINT

• 8:27 p.m., a Salem Township man said the grandmother of his children from a previous marriage showed up to his house and asked to see her grandchild. The man said they had a set agreement for visitation and the woman become upset so he called the police, 11100 block of Kimberly Drive, Salem Township.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

• 4:08 p.m., William R. O. Wesley was arrested and charged with domestic violence after allegedly striking his aunt and pushing her into a shelf while they were shopping at Kroger, 2000 block of E. Harbor Road, Portage Township.

THEFT

• 8:13 p.m., an Elliston man said 11 guns and a crossbow were stolen from his home within the last month. A responding deputy said there were no signs of forced entry and the homeowner said he didn’t lock his doors, 2100 block of N. Witty Rd., Elliston.

Friday

DISORDERLY SUBJECT/ARREST

• 7:03 p.m., Ronald L. Hauser Jr., was arrested for disorderly conduct after employees of Casa Las Palmas said he was threatening them for not serving him more alcohol. When deputies arrived, Hauser used profanity at them and refused to put his glass down. Hauser had to be restrained by two deputies and escorted to the cruiser, which he tried to resist on multiple occasions, according to a report, 3900 block of E. Harbor Light Landing, Portage Township.

COUNTERFEIT MONEY

• 1:15 p.m., a Hy-Miler employee said she received two identical $20 bills from a customer with the same serial numbers, 1700 block of W. Fremont Road, Bay Township.

UNRULY JUVENILE

• 6:35 p.m., a Harris Township woman said her 10-year-old son returned from football practice with a bad attitude and began to yell and scream at her. The boy then shoved her and she tripped over a coffee table, she said, 1400 block of Ernsthausen Road, Harris Township.
